The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s Office of Habitat Conservation protects and restores habitat to sustain fisheries, recover protected species, and maintain resilient coastal ecosystems and communities. Typical projects include removing dams and other barriers, reconnecting coastal wetlands, and rebuilding coral and oyster reefs. The Office of Habitat Conservation will provide technical assistance from project conception to completion and explore ways in which this funding can be used to support underserved communities.
